PRODUCT DATA SHEET:

KP-003H is a macroporous strongly acidic cation exchange resin type catalyst of the sulphonated polystyrene series, generally as the initiating agent for catalyzing organic synthesis and esterification reactions in which acids are one of the reactants. Owing to its uniform and solid structure and low swelling rate after reversible ionic replacement reactions, this resin remains perform with strong resistance to osmotic shock. This superior property of this resin that the mesh porosity of this resin does not vary from solution swelling qualifies itself with good exchange and strong adsorption performance in organic solutions.

In addition to its strong adsorption with inorganic &organic cations that its sulfonic-acid groups enable, KP-003H is structured with accessible porous channels, which empowers its appropriate binding force with nonpolar organic molecules as required without blocking resin pores neither polluting the reaction liquids. More importantly, thanks to its H+ ion form as shipped, KP-003H can directly release plenty of hydrogen ions into acids-engaged reaction solutions so that more H+ are involved to stimulate the progress and power the degree of reactions.

KP-003H is hereby preferably being applied under context of pure-water systems in which H+ will be voluntarily hydrolyzed and released with or without exchanging impurities, yet the catalytic effect is relatively minor as compared to the conditions that organic matter and metal salts are fine to be absorbed without affecting the reaction composition or outcomes. 
As the practical initiating agent of organic synthesis, KP-003H has been widely applied in support of powering the productive reactions of chemical synthesis, biopharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, cosmetics production, and the like.
