Aromatic Aromatic Nonpolar Macroporous Adsorbent for Improving Color Transmittance and Turbidity Reduction in Fruit-Veggie Juice Refining Process
PRODUCT DATA SHEET:
SD600 is an aromatic macroporous adsorbent of styrene skeleton and polymerized with unique pore diameter, which is mainly used for deep processing of vegetable juice by removing harmful components such as residual agrostis, tremicin and phenolic substances, and thus improving the color value and light transmittance of juice, reducing the turbidity and enhancing its stability.
Not containing ionic functional groups, SD600 adsorbent performs its molecular sieve properties by its peculiar macroporous structure of high specific surface area and appropriate pore size. Takeing advantage of its power of concentrating and separating organic matters regardless of inorganic salts and strong ions or low molecular compounds surround by, as well as its insolubility in acids, alkalis and organic solvents, SD600 has outperformed with large adsorption capacity, fine selectivity, fast adsorption speed, mild desorption conditions, easy regeneration and long service life.
Empirically, SD600 has been tested to most efficiently adsorb phenol and its compounds, hydrochloric ether and other chlorine-containing substances, surfactants, amino acids, fatty acids, etc. in aqueous solutions. Therefore, it is often used in biopharmaceuticals for purification of such compounds or alike.
Likeiwse in F&B industry, by removing these compounds that often remain as injurious ingredients during finishing process, SD600 adsorbent has been widely chosen to minimize the turbidity and optimize the lustre of juice, liquor or other drinks.
