PRODUCT DATA SHEET:
KP-2023OH is a macroporous strongly basic anion exchange resin type catalyst of the sulphonated polystyrene series containing type I trimethylamino functional groups, generally as the initiating agent for catalyzing organic synthesis and saponification reactions in which hydroxides are one of the reactants or as the inducer. Owing to its uniform and solid granularity and low swelling rate after reversible ionic replacement reactions, this resin remains perform with strong resistance to osmotic shock. This superior property of this resin that the mesh porosity of this resin does not vary from solution swelling qualifies itself with good exchange and strong adsorption performance in organic solutions.

Apart from its strong adsorption with inorganic &organic anions that its sulfonic-acid groups enable, KP-2023OH is structured with accessible void porous channels, which empowers its appropriate binding force with certain amounts of nonpolar organic molecules as required without blocking resin pores neither polluting the reaction liquids. More importantly, owing to its strong-base ion state OH- form as shipped, KP-2023OH can directly release corresponsive hydroxide ions into hydroxyl-engaged reaction solutions to stimulate the progress and power the degree of reactions.

Moreover, thanks to its strong-alkali property, KP-2023OH remains be voluntarily hydrolyzed and release OH- as many with or without exchanging the impurities of solutions. Therefore, KP-2023OH catalyst is preferably being applied under conditions of both pure-water preparation required for degrading acidity or alkalization, as a result of fast and strong catalytic effect. Alternatively, it can also be used in organic reaction fluids where organic matter and metal salts are fine to be separated-off without affecting the reaction composition or outcomes. In addition to be in use for the 
common purposes of demineralizing, decoloring or deodorizing, KP-2023OH has been widely applied in support of catalyzing and powering the productive reactions of chemical synthesis, biopharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, cosmetics production, and the like.
