PRODUCT DATA SHEET:

KP-003 is a macroporous strongly acidic cation exchange resin type catalyst of the sulphonated polystyrene series, generally as the initiating agent for catalyzing organic synthesis and esterification reactions. Owing to its uniform and solid structure and low swelling rate after reversible ionic replacement reactions, this resin remains perform with strong resistance to osmotic shock. This superior property of this resin that the mesh porosity of this resin does not vary from solution swelling qualifies itself with good exchange and strong adsorption performance in organic solutions.

In addition to its excellent physical &chemical stability and thermostable performance, KP-003 is structured with fine porosity and quite intense granular strength, which empowers its extra strong adsorbability with certain positive organic molecules and nonpolar organics as required without blocking resin pores neither polluting the reaction liquids. After required ion state transition from factory form Na+ into H+, KP-003 performs high exchange capacity of displacing inorganic cations of metal salts and nonmetal minerals, such as metal cations K+, Ca2+, Mg2+ or nonmetallic ammonium NH4with releasing H+ into the solutions of organic reactions that require Hto be initiated. In such way of exchanging ions as the initiating agent, KP-003 potentially increases the amounts of H+ within solutions and so catalyzing the process of the reactions.

This premium resin model KP-003 is hereby most suitable for desalting, deashing or softening for demineralization system and refined processing in chemical synthesis and biopharmaceuticals when certain organics of are allowed to be released without affecting reactants composition, and most importantly, more hydrogens are needed to expedite a great deal of synthesis yield.
